This site supports two books that approach grant writing from complementary perspectives: Writing Grants, Building Care: A Community-Centered Approach, an open educational resource (OER) book, and Grant Writing Using Rhetoric and Technology, forthcoming in the ATTW Book Series on Technical Communication and Routledge. Together, the books explore grant writing as more than a formula for securing funding. Grant writing is a way of understanding communities, building relationships, making arguments, developing ideas, and creating opportunities for meaningful change.
Whether you are a student learning to write your first proposal, an instructor teaching grant writing, a researcher looking for practical resources, or a community organization seeking support for an important project, this site is designed to help.
